What Is the Teeth Whitening Process Like?
We offer Opalescence brand whitening at our office, and also give our patients the option of using either take-home or in-office teeth whitening here at our Gladstone location. There’s no wrong choice here—both options will give you a brighter smile!
Take-Home Whitening
If you choose the take-home whitening option, your dentist will go over the procedure with you and make sure you understand it completely. After that, you can whiten your teeth in the comfort of your home!
You’ll be given a custom dental tray that fits over your teeth. You’ll put the whitening material in these trays and place them in your mouth for usually about 30 minutes at a time over a few weeks. Then, it’s just a matter of waiting enough time for the whitening process to be complete!
In-Office Whitening
If you’d rather have a dentist in charge of your whitening process, the in-office option here at Gladstone Family Dentistry might be best for you. The whitening process will be just like any other dental treatment, with total dentist supervision.
The in-office whitening treatment is chemically activated, which means you won’t have to sit under hot or uncomfortable lights. You’ll see noticeable results in only an hour!
