Your smile is our favorite feature! That’s why we work so hard to provide the right options for your dental needs. Now, you probably know that maintaining good oral hygiene is the all-important first step in getting and keeping a fab smile. But did you know that there are a lot of affordable options for you to check out if you don’t feel like showing your pearly whites? Some of these options are even covered by many traditional dental insurance plans!
Do you want to know more? Here’s a quick breakdown of the cosmetic dentistry options we offer here at Gladstone Family Dentistry:
Professional Tooth Whitening
Almost everyone has tried some kind of over-the-counter teeth whitening product. If you’ve used whitening toothpaste or tried Crest Whitening Strips – you’ve used a teeth whitening product. The remarkable thing about dental teeth whitening is that all of that time and energy you’ve put into whitening your teeth with over-the-counter products won’t get you anywhere near the gleaming white we can accomplish in one visit.
An added benefit to pro teeth whitening: the technology we use doesn’t harm or strip your teeth like some over-the-counter products.
Porcelain Veneers and Cosmetic Bonding
You can give your teeth a whiter look with veneers, but that’s not the only benefit veneers provide. If you have had chipped or broken teeth, gaps or some crooked teeth, veneers can give you a quick fix. Basically, porcelain veneers are applied in place of your tooth enamel and are as sturdy as your natural teeth were – but they are more stain resistant. So, sipping coffee is no problem, but crunching ice is still an activity you want to stay away from.
Cosmetic bonding is a less permanent solution for chipped or broken teeth. However, it’s a very simple procedure. We use a tooth-colored filler material to seal up the cracks or chips on your teeth. This material isn’t quite as strong as your natural teeth were, so it’s important to follow your dentist’s instructions after the procedure is complete.
Invisalign and Six Month Smiles
We offer two types of tooth adjustment options. The first one is Six Month Smiles – which is a clear bracket used to adjust and straighten your visible teeth. It’s a cosmetic fix for crooked or overcrowded teeth.
The second option is for those of you who want a more thorough fix, who need bite adjustment or help with TMJ symptoms. That is Invisalign.
Invisalign is an elegant solution to clunky and uncomfortable braces. They are clear plastic trays that slowly move your teeth into proper alignment. This is a simple, comfortable solution to many orthodontic problems. Also, some dental insurance plans cover Invisalign.
If you explore our cosmetic dentistry options, you’ll find solutions that cover all of your needs. From onlays and inlays to help protect a decayed tooth and improve dental health to full dental implants, we have options to cover your needs. Just give us a call to find out more or to make an appointment!
